Drywall, Paint and Trim Processes

  1. Drywall Hang/Finish After Inspections/Insulation/Etc

    a. Allow 8-14 Days, Dependent on Size/Number of Houses

  2. Trim Delivery Day After Drywall Sand/Clean (by Builder)

  3. Trim Labor Day After Trim Delivery if Possible

    a. Allow 3 Days for Small Houses and Up to 3 Weeks for Larger Houses, Depending on Size/Number of Houses (and Material Shortages)

  4. 1st Paint Labor Starts Right After Trim Install

    a. Our First Paint Labor Includes Prime Walls/Ceilings, Prep/Prime Woodwork, Spray Trim Paint, Drywall Pointup 1 (Heavy Pointup to Walls and Ceilings And Closets), and Then Painters Finish Out 100% of the Ceilings and Closets.

    b. Allow 7 Days for Small Houses, 14 Days for Medium Houses, and 21 Days for Large (5000Sf) Houses, Depending on the Size of Homes/Number of Homes at Once

  5. All Trades Go Through Home – Cabinets/Tile/Counters/Plumber/Electrical/HVAC/Sand-Finish Floors 1 Coat (If Pre-Finish Floors, Please Do Not Install Yet)

  6. Schedule 2-3 Days for Drywall #2 After the Trades Above are Finished, but Before Carpet/Before Final Coat on Floors/Before Pre Finish Floor Install

  7. Install Carpet

    a. Schedule Trim Punch/Shoemold Delivery for This Day or Around This Day

  8. Same-Day or Right Before/After Carpet, Trim Punch and Shoemold Install

  9. Rough Clean House

  10. Final Paint

    a. We Finish Walls (They Are Only Primed At This Point), Stain Stairs, Run The Baseboards, Perform Trim Touchups, Etc. During This Time

    b. Allow 7-21 Days, Dependent On Size/Number Of Homes (Several Weeks For Larger Homes 5000Sf+)

    c. On the Next to the Last Day: We prefer to walk the house with the superintendent and mark a QC Tape

  11. Final Clean the Home

  12. QC/HO Walk and Tape
